Humanized Terms

The privacy statement and terms and conditions of use in our own words, human to human.

1. We're Not Interested In

We are not interested in collecting, owning, selling, or abusing your personal information.

We are not interested in storing your website visit information for anything else than anonymous statistics.

We are not interested in knowing exactly who you are, what you do, and how you work, or what color your underwear is.

However, we sometimes ask our users to work with us and to give us a little insight into who they are, what they do, and how they work, because it helps us understand them better, it helps us understand who we are creating our software for and how it is used. This information is in any case kept confidential.

2. We're Interested In

We are interested in producing quality audio software, which takes up all the time we have.
You are the user, the customer, the person who helps us follow through with our vision.

We are interested in a good relationship with you, and abusing your personal information for whatever reason this bizarre world thinks is so very important, does in no way help with having a good relationship with you.

We are interested in collecting basic anonymous information of your visit to this web site, because it helps us decide which parts of the site need more work, are invisible to our users, or are pretty much useless.
For this reason we make use of the open source Matomo. We have removed Google Analytics from all of our sites.

3. We're Refusing

While we're actively using several social networks as our outlets, we refuse to embed social networks (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) directly into our website.
Social apps have been removed, digital ties have mostly been severed, and replaced with simple links, to make sure your information is not collected by external sites and companies when you visit our website.
Our news page is a carbon copy of the news feed on our Facebook page, however, the connection is established by our server, and not in the web browser on your side.
We store this information for about a month, or two, to have backups to go back to.

We refuse to phone home from within our software for any malicious reasons.

We refuse bundling our software with shady third-party monetization solutions or setups, or wrappers.

4. We're Asking

We would like to ask of you to not pirate our software, which is a constant stream of hard work and ddss. And, you know, that would be super mean.

We would like to ask you to work with us to improve what we're creating.

5. We're Hoping

We do hope though that you will eventually buy our software, because it is what keeps us going.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is, just like our own, very important to us.

Accordingly, we have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate and disclose and make use of personal information. The following outlines our privacy policy:

  • Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected.
  • We will collect and use personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes specified by us and for other compatible purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law.
  • We will only retain personal information as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes.
  • We will only collect personal information by lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned.
  • Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • We will protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
  • We will make readily available to customers information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information.
  • We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained.
